Some estate planning lawyers choose to build sales funnels with things like newsletters or downloadable guides. This can be a good approach if done correctly; it takes time and consistency but it’s certainly something I can help you with. .
Package Pricing
Like a lot of practice areas, looking established and accessible is an effective approach. If you are willing to take smaller cases and simple wills, talking about price might be a good way to drive engagement. Some law firms have “package” rates which I think is a great idea; people love the confidence that comes with knowing exactly what you’re going to pay.
The Feeling of Having it Done
Unfortunately, estate planning usually provides little benefit until / unless something awful happens, typically a death. The benefit you are providing is the comfort of preparedness, which is not an easy thing to sell. That said, there is a reason people complete their estate plan, and the motive is to feel at ease and ready for whatever happens.
